The transitional look in these paintings was inspited by the new billboards that "flip" to show a second image. I was thinking one day, "Well, what if some panels flipped and some did not..." and this is the look that I came up with. In the initial drawing, I found it to be so intriguing and different I decided to continue on with the painting and see what developed on the canvas. These are more loosely painted that some of my other works, but the simplicity of them is so soothing. Simple ~ Soft ~ Soothing.
